On November 4, 2024, the 136th Canton Fair successfully concluded in Guangzhou.

The export intention transaction volume of this year’s Canton Fair is 24.95 billion US dollars, an increase of 1% compared to the previous session.

The number of overseas buyers attending this year’s Canton Fair has reached a historic high. As of November 3rd (the same below),

a total of 253000 overseas buyers from 214 countries and regions attended the conference, an increase of 2.8% compared to the previous session,

breaking the 250000 mark for the first time and setting a new historical high. The proportion of purchasers in the “the Belt and Road” co construction

countries exceeded 60%, with a total of 165000 people, up 3.7%. The number of buyers in Middle Eastern countries has grown the fastest,

reaching 34000 people, an increase of 32.6%. The number of buyers from European and American countries has significantly rebounded, reaching

54000 people, an increase of 8.2%. Among them, there are 22000 European Union buyers, an increase of 22.5%; 8919 American buyers, an

increase of 5.2%. A total of 146 industrial and commercial institutions attended the conference in groups, an increase of 18.5%.

The number of top multinational procurement enterprises has exceeded 300 for the first time, reaching 308.

Exhibitors generally reflect that the overseas buyers attending this conference have clear procurement goals and strong

willingness to cooperate. After on-site factory inspections and in-depth communication, more transactions are expected to

be reached in the future.
